PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION POLICY PAYMENT No deposit. Pay online when you book and get 20% off, or pay on site after the inspection. WHAT I INSPECT A full rundown of the house side of the RV before you buy it: - Roof: a thorough inspection of the membrane, seams, sealant, vents, skylights and A/C gaskets. - Water damage: soft spots, delamination and staining in floors, walls and ceilings. - Appliances: A/C, fridge, water heater, furnace, range, microwave and more, each run and tested. - Plumbing: fresh water system, tank fills, water lines, pump, sinks, faucets, and gray and black tanks and valves. - Electrical, batteries, propane system, slides and leveling. THE REPORT You get a report at the end covering what works, what doesn't, and what needs attention soon, so you can negotiate or walk away with real information. THIS IS AN INSPECTION, NOT A REPAIR I test and report; I don't fix anything during the inspection. Any repairs found can be quoted separately. WHAT I NEED ON SITE The owner's or dealer's permission to inspect; keys and access to every compartment; shore power or a running generator; propane in the tanks; water in the fresh tank or a hose hookup, so plumbing and tanks can actually be tested; safe roof access. If something can't be tested because power, water or propane isn't available, I will note it in the report as not tested. WHAT IT DOESN'T COVER Engine, transmission, drivetrain, brakes, tires and chassis; hidden damage I can't see without taking the RV apart; the RV's value or title. The report reflects the RV's condition on the day of the inspection and is not a warranty or guarantee of future performance. WEATHER If rain or high wind makes the roof unsafe, I will inspect the rest and come back for the roof, or reschedule, at no extra charge. SAFETY If I find a propane leak, unsafe wiring or a carbon monoxide risk, I will tell you and the owner right away and may shut that system off. Questions?
