SLIDES & JACKS
Slide-Outs, Jacks & Leveling — Mobile Service in Stockton & the Central Valley
A slide-out that won't extend leaves half your rig unusable, and a jack that won't retract means you can't drive away. This is the work I'm factory-certified in — Lippert landing gear and slide-out systems are my specialty. I come to the RV and get you moving again without a tow.

Common Problems I See
Slide-out won't extend or retracts halfway
Failed motor, broken shear bolt, bad controller, or a bound rack. I diagnose the drive system and quote before replacing the expensive part.
Jacks won't retract, stuck in the air
Stuck solenoid, low hydraulic fluid, or a failed spring on Lippert. I rebuild jacks on-site in most cases.
Leveling system shows an error and won't auto-level
Bad sensor, low voltage, or controller fault. I check voltage at the pump before blaming the board; weak batteries cause half these errors.
Slide drifts out while driving
Worn lock bar, bad brake, or hydraulic leak on HWH. I find the actual failure, not just re-lock it.
Landing gear won't lift the front or makes grinding
Stripped gear, bad motor, or bent shaft.
Touch panel is dead or stuck
Lippert OneControl and legacy panels fail from voltage spikes and bad grounds. I test the harness and ground before replacing the panel.
Central Valley–Specific Notes
Storage-lot rigs around Tracy and Mountain House sit for months with jacks extended or slides out, and the sun bakes hydraulic seals dry — that's why they leak or stick on the first trip. Newer HOA-restricted neighborhoods push RVs into storage where nobody runs the systems, so seals and limit switches seize. I'm factory-trained on Lippert in Las Vegas for landing gear and slide-rooms, so when a Lippert system throws a code or a jack won't retract, you're getting the guy who's been through the actual Lippert curriculum.
Are you certified on Lippert systems?
Yes. I'm a Certified Lippert Landing Gear Specialist and a Certified Lippert Slide-Out / Slide-Room Technician — factory training in Las Vegas. That's the bulk of what I do.
My jack won't retract and I'm stuck — can you come today?
Same-day service is available most days. Call or text (209) 901-7667 and tell me the rig and where it's parked. A stuck jack is one of the most common reasons people call me.
Do you work on HWH hydraulic leveling?
Yes — pumps, valves, solenoids, and room extensions. Lippert/LCI and HWH are the two systems I see most.
Can you rebuild a leaking jack on-site?
In most cases yes. Seal kits and solenoid service are done at the rig. If a jack needs to be removed and pressed, I'll tell you that honestly and quote the right path.
1. Diagnose & Quote
I arrive with factory tools to test motors, controllers, and hydraulic pressure. You get a clear diagnosis and a set price before I start the repair.
2. The Repair
Most Lippert and HWH issues are fixed in one trip. Whether it’s a motor swap, timing adjustment, or a hydraulic jack rebuild, I do the work on-site.
3. System Test
I cycle the rooms and level the rig three times to verify operation and seal engagement. You get a tech who knows these specific mechanisms.
